Key Responsibilities of the Travel MedSurg RN:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to hospital policy
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
Requirements of the Travel MedSurg RN:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado or compact state)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent MedSurg experience
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
