Scheduling requires four weekend shifts within a 28-day schedule and participation in holiday rotations. There is a floating policy in effect with other staff. Patient experience goals require achieving 72% satisfaction. Advanced nursing skills in medical-surgical care are essential. Experience with various respiratory diseases, renal diseases, gastrointestinal illnesses, telemetry, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin infusions is necessary.
