Description:
We are seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg unit.
The unit typically has 18-20 beds.
Staff consists of a charge nurse, multiple nurses, and support staff.
Patient-to-nurse ratios are generally 6:1 with LPN support.
Common equipment includes Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA pumps.
The EMR used is Meditech.
The nursing role includes wound and dressing care for post-operative patients.
Candidates with experience in burn care, wound care, and ostomy care are preferred.
