Supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Employs independent judgment in patient care decisions. Collects relevant data pertinent to patient health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
