Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: RN - ICU Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Recent experience with EPIC License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor Must-Have: AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Employs independent judgment in patient care decisions. Collects relevant data pertinent to patient health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan prescribing interventions to achieve desired outcomes. Implements the care plan, coordinates delivery, and promotes a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining patient outcomes. Identifies expected outcomes for the patient’s situation. Collaborates with the healthcare team in providing care in a safe and healing environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients and families. Directly provides health information to patients and their families. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties among healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and well-being of associates and patients. Receives required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
