Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: 2.5+ years of strong ICU experience with at least one contract in an ICU with an institution of 500+ beds License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, Critical Care Certification preferred, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - 2.5+ years of strong ICU experience - Experience in high acuity ICU patient populations Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit setting. Candidates must have strong clinical skills and be adept in managing critically ill patients. Experience with complex medical diagnoses is essential, including but not limited to: end-stage renal disease, multisystem organ failure, autoimmune pulmonary disorders, and critically ill oncology patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is either 1:1 or 1:2. Weekend work is required for 3 out of 6 weekends per 6-week schedule. Call availability is required, along with potential to float to areas with similar skill sets. This role requires commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Consideration will be given to those with previous travel assignments and current experience in surgical ICU settings.
