This role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical conditions. Fluency in using the Epic charting system is preferred. The position requires proficiency in CRRT, pronation therapy, and vasopressor titrations. Candidates must be comfortable working as part of an emergency response team. Responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, interpreting ABGs, and administering blood products. The nurse will participate in procedures like chest tube insertion and PICC line management. In addition, skills in caring for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure are necessary. Team members will work with interdisciplinary support, including rapid response teams. Patient ratios will be maintained at 2:1. Weekend coverage will be required. No block scheduling requests will be accepted.
