Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty License: Registered Nurse - State License Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA NIH or Red Cross Certifications Must-Have: Ability to float to other units as required Description: The Medical Intensive Care Unit is a high-acuity unit that provides complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients. Nurses must exhibit a high level of professional competency. The nursing team works collaboratively with all disciplines of the care team. The goal is to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Our team is dedicated to making the patient experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe and secure environment. Education: An associate degree in nursing is required. Certifications: PALS is preferred if working in a pediatric unit. Experience: 2 years of experience is required; however, 18 months of experience may be considered if working under the highest level of professional license. Candidates must have 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty. This position is patient-facing. The position is clinical in nature. The electronic medical record for this facility is Meditech. Scrub colors and dress code are solid navy. Candidates must be willing to float to other units and facilities as required.
