Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Travel experience required - Charting experience with Epic - Preferred experience in Community Hospital and LTAC - Preferred experience in Trauma Level I and II Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical ICU. Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in an ICU setting. Travel experience is preferred for this role. The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:2. Must be proficient in using the Epic charting system. Key responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, and coordinating care. The nurse will care for adults and geriatric patients. Candidates should have several specific skills, including but not limited to central line management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients. Familiarity with specialized equipment and procedures is expected. The role involves working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services. All requirements must be fulfilled prior to consideration for this position.
