Job Title: Travel RN MICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years MICU/MSICU experience License: Active RN license required, temporary license not accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, CCRN preferred Must-Have: - 2+ years MICU/MSICU experience - BLS - ACLS Description: We are seeking a Travel RN for the MICU department. The ideal candidate should have experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit. Assignments will be made based on patient acuity and nursing skills. The RN will utilize all ICU equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitoring devices. Experience with Meditech is preferred. Procedures performed on the unit include central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations. Patients will be cared for according to the required experience in MICU/MSICU. The dress code requires royal blue scrubs. Nails must be clean and healthy, with no artificial nails or gel. Hair should be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be well-groomed. Tattoos should be covered whenever possible, and visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited. Attendance policies must be adhered to during employment.
