Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit utilizing a team nursing model with support from PCCs and LPNs
- Manage patient assignments within a team nursing structure, collaborating with ancillary staff to ensure safe, quality care
- Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed per unit requirements
- Float to like units or campuses within the system as required
- Adhere to all facility compliance, credentialing, and documentation standards throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing
- At least 1 completed prior travel nursing assignment
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
- Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
- Valid driver's license required at time of submission
- Willingness to work holidays as required (up to 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays if all fall within the assignment period)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
- Large hospital or high-acuity facility experience
- EPIC electronic health record experience
