Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | Full-Time | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols and standards of care
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission – no pending certifications accepted
- One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months is required
Preferred Experience / Skills- 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility
- Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
- Prior travel nursing experience in a telemetry or medical surgical setting
