Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shifts
- Assist with and monitor post heart catheterization patients
- Support bedside procedures including dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage
- Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
- Float to similar units as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated competencies
- Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving system access
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Omnicell medication management systems
- First-time travelers will be considered based on overall clinical experience
