Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care for patients with diagnoses including CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions, and generalized debility
Perform medication reconciliation, interpretation of laboratory results, and thorough patient health assessments including vital signs and allergy history
Conduct and assist with clinical procedures including dressing changes, aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup, phlebotomy, specimen collection and labeling, and urinalysis
Manage patient care at a 1:6 ratio within an inpatient rehabilitation department serving post-stroke, post-aneurysm, and post-operative surgical patients
Float between facility campuses as needed per assignment requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience – first-time travelers will not be considered
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed; study materials are not provided)
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location – proof of address via current driver's license required at submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in acute care rehabilitation nursing
Familiarity with care for post-stroke, post-surgical, and neurologically complex patient populations
