Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
- Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday as required
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification required at time of submission
- NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system required
Preferred Experience / Skills- 18 months of specialty experience obtained within a single facility location
- Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity in completing pre-start compliance modules
- One verifiable professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months in the applicable specialty
