Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care across multiple Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as part of a float pool
- Independently read and interpret telemetry strips in real time
- Adapt quickly to the workflows, patient populations, and protocols of up to five different units
- Administer and monitor intravenous therapies in accordance with unit standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- Proficiency with Meditech and EPIC electronic health record systems
- Ability to independently read telemetry strips and pass an on-site competency exam on Day 1 with a score of 84% or higher (two attempts permitted)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills- 3–5 years of experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to five or more Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
