Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) registered nurse positions are available in a healthcare facility located in Plattsburgh, New York. These assignments offer an opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care on a 12-hour day shift basis. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on surgical and telemetry patient populations, providing essential nursing services in a resourceful and collaborative setting.
Job Details:
- Shift Time: Days
- Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 08/24/2026
- Travel Required: No
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in the relevant specialty
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- CMSRN (Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse) certification preferred
- NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification required prior to starting
- Epic electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
- NY license or proof of application with applied date required in the submission packet (note: NY licensing takes 6-8 weeks)
- Additional Information:
- IVS to OFFER
- Monday to Sunday schedule
- No block schedules for any reason
- Bi-weekly orientations on Monday; next available orientation date pending
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete employment history (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) required for submission

- Public transportation is NOT accessible in this area; reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November to April
