Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience required License: SC license or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: Med/Surg experience Description: Position/Specialty: MS/Tele RN Shift: 3x12s, Nights (7p-7a) Patient Ratios: 1:6-1:7 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend On-call Requirement: No Floating Requirement: Yes, to like units with like patients Additional Experience: Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias preferred Completion of assigned modules required prior to start date Attendance at staff meetings is required Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date RTO must be included at time of submission Facility allows for call-offs after 2 call-outs without documented medical reason Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season Expected access to modules by the Wednesday before the start date All travelers must avoid confirming a new or extended assignment during the hurricane season Hurricane season runs from June through November each year Travelers must complete pre-start compliance on time for the proposed start date Travelers will not be cleared to report until the SC license is issued/active Hospital highlights: Short-term acute care facility with a total of 97 staffed beds Scrub Color: Royal Blue Charting System: Epic Travelers should not have any time off planned that conflicts with compliance timelines
