Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Travel Contract in Camden, New Jersey
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel RN contract in Camden, New Jersey. Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130-$2,250
- Location: Camden, New Jersey

- Contract Length: 13-week travel contract
- Schedule: Weekends only (Friday-Sunday); clinician must work 4 weekend shifts every 6-week schedule period
- Shift: 7:00 PM start, weekend coverage
- Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
- Time-Off Restriction: No holiday time off allowed during the assignment
Job Requirements
- 3 years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma facility
- Current and active New Jersey Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current NIHSS certification
- Ability to float to all like units as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient monitoring skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective patient care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
- Float to like units based on patient care needs and staffing demands
- Deliver compassionate care while maintaining efficiency in a high-acuity acute care environment
- Commit to weekend scheduling requirements, including 4 weekend shifts every 6-week schedule period, and support consistent unit coverage
- Maintain availability for the full assignment schedule, including holidays, as no holiday time off is permitted
