Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night rotation Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience License: Must have a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel assignments - Must work at least every other holiday - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments required during orientation Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The position involves working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, rotating between day and night shifts. Nurses may potentially float to care for similar patient populations in other areas as needed. The role requires strong clinical skills in telemetry nursing. Candidates must pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation. A reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for consideration. Active state licensure and required certifications must be in good standing with no pending issues. Nurses must adhere to facility policies, including compliance requirements not to smoke. All travelers are subject to a background check and review of licensure. Candidates will need to complete onboarding procedures prior to starting the contract.
