First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

Med-Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse – Night Shift

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:30 | Variable Days | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
  • Weekend Protocol: Every other weekend required (Friday – Sunday rotation).
  • Holiday Protocol: Holidays required based on operational facility needs.
  • Assignment Length: 13-Week Contract (Start Date Options: 08/31/2026 or 09/14/2026)
  • RTO Limit & Protocol: Maximum 2 pre-approved time-off requests permitted.

  • Floating Protocol: Required to float within the general care acute care division as needed.

     

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2 years of acute care Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience within the last 3 years. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
  • Competency Assessment Mandate [CRITICAL HARDSTOP]: Candidates MUST pass a facility Telemetry Exam prior to clearance to start.
  • EMR Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Hands-on clinical documentation experience in Epic EMR is required (experience within the past 12 months preferred).
  • Vaccination Mandate: Annual Flu Vaccination required (Medical or Religious exemptions only).
  • Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active Wisconsin State RN License or active eNLC Multistate Compact RN License.
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
