Job Summary:
The profession is Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Surgical with Telemetry specialty. Located in Manchester, New Hampshire, this position involves providing high-quality patient care on a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and promoting optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN License, BLS certification, 0 years minimum of relevant experience, located in New Hampshire or willing to commute to Manchester, NH
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Med/Surg and telemetry care, knowledge of IV medication administration (including management of Lasix drip, heparin drip, IVP medications like metoprolol, diltiazem, insulin IV or subQ), wound care including drain management and vacs, NGT/G tube care, parenteral nutrition, central line management (PICC, HD catheters, midlines), Foley and nephrostomy care, ostomy care, and postoperative patient care
- Additional Information: The unit features brand new blood pressure machines, a fantastic team atmosphere, monthly UPC meetings, and great employee retention rates. The hospital is new to the HCA healthcare family, and knowledge of HCA policies is considered a plus. Candidate participation in daily multidisciplinary rounds on weekdays at 1030-1115 is expected.
