Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility in Marion, Illinois. This position involves providing care for Neuro and Neuro-Surgical patients, including those with cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs), postoperative back or neck surgeries, and cerebral angiograms. The RN will also manage medical overflow patients and demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced neuro unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); NIHSS certification; minimum of two years of strong Med Surg/Telemetry experience, with at least one travel assignment; recent EPIC charting experience; neuro experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Float: Could float to the medical unit as needed.
• Additional Information: The neuro unit has 22 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4. The unit requires social candidates who are hard workers, resilient, and adaptable to change. Scrub color is navy blue. Holiday rotation is every other holiday. The facility is in Marion, Illinois, with a start date of 08/24/2026. The shift notes specify 12-hour night shifts with guaranteed hours, and interview days are Monday through Friday.
