Must-Have:
1. Ability to interpret and sign off telemetry strips.
2. Willingness to float to IMCU if needed.
3. Two supervisor references required.
Description:
The registered nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts per week.
Weekends are required every other week.
Floating to IMCU will occur as needed, working within the established skill set.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience.
The ability to interpret telemetry strips is critical for this role.
BLS and NIHSS certifications must be in hand before the interview process.
References from previous supervisors are required for the application.
Candidates should have experience with blood product administration and management of dysrhythmias.
Skills in isolation precautions and peripheral line care/management are essential.
The patient age group primarily includes adults and geriatrics.
Daily census for the unit is approximately 82 patients, with a total of 95 beds.
Interdisciplinary support includes various services from physical therapy to pharmacy.
Candidates must be prepared to complete all required modules during the first hours of orientation.
