Job Summary:
The Cardiac Renal Unit Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Evansville, Indiana. This assignment involves working night shifts in a high-acuity, 41-bed clinical setting with a focus on cardiac and renal patient care. Candidates are required to bring their active licensure on the first day of orientation.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current active compact license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; at least two years of experience in cardiac/telemetry nursing; one prior travel assignment; trauma level II experience; recent Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience using EPIC.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Strong assessment and critical thinking skills; resilient and adaptable candidates comfortable managing change; social and hardworking professional.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within skillsets, including potential to float to selected campuses with adequate notice.
  • Additional Information: The assignment involves working every other holiday, with three weekends out of every six-week schedule. Interview days are from Monday to Friday, with MSP interview process.
