Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit position requiring telemetry and IV skills along with an MD or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on a 38-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, substance abuse, and medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorders
• RN to patient ratio is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends
• PCT to patient ratio is 1:10
• 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required every other weekend
• Holiday coverage required every other holiday and as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand
• Telemetry Med/Surg unit experience required
• IV skills required
• Comparable facility size experience required for consideration
