Description:
10 beds available with MedSurg and Tele capability on all beds.
12-hour shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and no cancellations.
Must have experience in a MedSurg acute care setting.
Support staff includes Tele techs, charge nurse, health unit coordinators, and patient care technicians.
Nurse to patient ratios are 1:5 during days and 1:6 during nights, with ratios of 1:4 for pediatrics based on level of acuity.
Nurse managers perform rounds but do not provide patient care.
Floating to all MedSurg units and ICU may be required, including taking MedSurg overflow patients.
Any color scrubs are acceptable, and scrubs are not provided.
Experience with various charting systems may be preferred.
