Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• 18 months of permanent Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience required prior to travel
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Ability to meet all compliance and onboarding requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to care plans
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation throughout the shift
• Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
• Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment
