Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting License: Must have an active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in a hospital setting - RN ACLS-BLS Telemetry Description: The unit has 47 beds, consisting of 23 semi-private rooms and 1 private room. The staff includes charge nurses, registered nurses, licensed nursing assistants, unit clerks, and telemetry technicians. Patient ratios are typically 1:5 but can stretch to 1:6. Preferred equipment includes Pyxis, Alaris Pumps, bladder scanners, ECG machines, chest tubes, vital sign monitors, and vein finders. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech Expanse. Shift time for day staff is from 0645 to 1915. Typical hiring profile seeks candidates with surgical bariatrics, cardiac experience, vascular surgery, and wound care skills.
