Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty.
The role involves providing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
A minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry is required.
Candidates must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory and must be active with no pending issues.
Travelers are expected to work at least every other holiday.
References must be from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months.
Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation is necessary.
An acceptable score on both assessments is required to maintain employment.
Candidates with any background checks that reveal an open case will not be accepted.
Upon acceptance, BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.
Modules are completed pre-start and annually, requiring an average of 6-15 hours, depending on the specialty.
