Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience; 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for required. License: Must have a permanent license in hand; compact licenses accepted. Certifications: American Red Cross BLS and ACLS required; NIH certification must be obtained prior to start. Must-Have: Epic experience; one recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for; ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate completion during orientation with acceptable scores required. Description: All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable and no exceptions will be made. Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Minimum of 18 months recent medical/surgical telemetry experience is required. Must have a permanent license in hand, or a compact license if applicable. Active certifications are required with no pending issues. Two references from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for are required to qualify for submission. Only references from assignments worked in the past 12 months will be considered. Travelers must work at least every other holiday. All travelers must complete the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation and achieve acceptable scores. Travelers will receive a maximum of two attempts to pass; failure to pass will result in cancellation. Background checks of any kind are reviewed, and travelers with open cases will not be accepted. The facility does not accept any license hits. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements. All other travelers must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months prior to start and must be updated annually. Candidates may extend their contract for a period of 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required, subject to client approval. Modules may vary by specialty and will be required pre-start and annually. Modules are recorded and processed as per facility guidelines.
