Job Summary:
The position of Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Medical Surgical with Telemetry is based in the St. Louis, Missouri area. This role involves providing direct patient care on a medical surgical telemetry unit, performing assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care activities. The RN will work in a private room environment within a facility recognized for its high standards of safety and patient care.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 1900-0700, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, at least 36 hours weekly
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license that meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri, or current licensure in Missouri; BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA only; 0+ years of experience in a relevant clinical setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit; familiarity with electronic medical records system EPIC; strong communication skills, team-oriented personality
- Additional Information:
- This position is for a 13-week assignment with the possibility to extend up to 26 weeks.
- The RN must be available for orientation on day shift and must work every other weekend as per facility requirements.
- Candidate should be prepared to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years Day).
- The RN will monitor patient ratios estimated at 4-6:1 and will utilize standard nursing equipment on a Telemetry unit.
