Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Specialty Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry skills, Telemetry monitoring, Cardiac drips titration Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Specialty Unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in a telemetry setting. The ratio of staff to patients is 1:5. Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit are encouraged to apply. First-time travelers are welcome to submit applications. Weekend coverage is required, with a commitment to 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period. Certifications in BLS and NIHSS are mandatory. Experience with telemetry, cardiac drip titration, and unit monitoring is essential. The clinician may be required to float between departments, units, and facilities as needed. Holidays and charge nurse assignments may also be required based on unit needs. Local candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility. All candidates are expected to fulfill the terms of their signed agreements fully. Compliance requirements for documentation completion will be communicated during the onboarding process. The unit provides an array of interdisciplinary support services for patient care. Daily census averages around 30 patients.
