Description:
The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Medicine unit.
This role involves a commitment of 36 hours per week.
Nurses are required to work every other weekend.
Holiday shifts will be required on an every other basis and as needed.
The patient population includes cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, substance abuse, and medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorders.
The unit has 38 beds with a RN/Patient ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.
Patient Care Technicians have a patient ratio of 1:10.
Candidates should have experience in telemetry and possess IV skills.
