Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients' needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment required by these patients. Makes initial assessments and determines the appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by documentation.
