Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Post-operative patient care including ortho/neurosurgical/abdominal surgeries. NG tube and chest tube management. Foley catheter and TURP care. Management of respiratory issues and diabetic patient care. Experience with sepsis, alcohol withdrawal, rib fractures, altered mental status, and pain management. Great customer service and patient experience skills. Description: This is a position within a level III trauma center offering a wide range of medical services. The facility specializes in state-of-the-art operating suites and provides care for various trauma levels. Healthcare services include surgical and rehabilitation specialties, alongside a childbirth center and cancer services. The facility is equipped with advanced imaging and lab testing services. A dynamic and adventurous community awaits, offering numerous outdoor activities and beautiful landscapes. The patient population primarily consists of adults, ages 18 and older. This unit experiences high patient turnover with admissions and discharges throughout each shift. Equipment used includes IV pumps and vital signs monitors. The electronic health record system utilized is Cerner. Flexibility to float between related units may be required.
