License: Active RN license or compact license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Must-Have: - Experience in a Level I Trauma Center. - Travel experience required. - Charge experience preferred. - Large hospital experience required. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical/Telemetry. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty. Candidates with prior travel experience are highly preferred. The nurse will work day shifts, with a focus on a team nursing model. The patient ratio is 1:12; however, this is effectively 1:6/7 due to team-based care. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses, including cardiac conditions. Expected responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. It is essential to have a strong background in telemetry and the ability to handle critical patient conditions. Candidates must be compliant with all licensing requirements and be prepared to work during holidays if necessary. All requests for time off must be submitted prior to the application.
