Description:
This position is for a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg Telemetry.
The role involves working in a medical respiratory unit primarily focusing on acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
Nurses will care for patients suffering from pneumonia, shortness of breath, COPD, and various lung diseases.
Additionally, the unit provides care for medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke and surgical patients.
Nursing staff will have a patient ratio of 1:6 in the general unit and 1:4 for the respiratory step-down unit.
Nurses will participate in daily rounds with an interdisciplinary team.
Flexible scheduling is offered, including options for 36 or 48 hours per week.
Holidays and every other weekend are required as part of the position.
Education requirement includes an Associate's degree in nursing.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of recent experience in the field of specialty.
