The unit focuses on cardiac telemetry, with nurses managing a patient ratio of 1:6. You will care for patients experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, and various cardiac arrhythmias. Additionally, care will be provided to medical patients with pneumonia, gastrointestinal issues, COPD, diabetes, and occasional strokes. Candidates should be prepared to deliver patient-centered care to support recovery and optimal patient outcomes. The ability to work collaboratively with nursing and ancillary staff is essential. Patients require dedicated nursing attention throughout their stay.
