Job Summary:
A travel nurse opportunity is available in Alabama for a Medical Surgical With Telemetry specialty in the Tuscaloosa area. The position requires candidates to provide dedicated patient care within a cardiac telemetry unit, supporting patients with various cardiac and medical conditions. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
- Specialty: Medical Surgical With Telemetry
- Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week, with night shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted); Associate degree in nursing; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross certification; 18 months to 2 years of recent experience in the specialty, working under the highest level of professional license, with at least 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.
- Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross
- Additional Information: Must be willing to float to units/hospitals. Every other weekend and holidays as required. Parking is available. Two positions are open to fill contractor replacement.
- The assignment start date is July 6, 2026.
