Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare facility located in Gallatin, Tennessee. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care across all age groups in a Level III Trauma Center. The RN will support the unit's daily operations, ensuring patient safety and comfort, while adhering to the facility's standards and protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee, Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), one or more years of nursing experience, including Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience and IV insertion skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic health records system, knowledge of common diagnoses and treatments in a Med/Surg Tele unit.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to similar medical surgical units.
- Additional Information: The position requires participation in weekly orientation on Mondays. Candidates must be located at least 60 miles away from the facility to be considered eligible. The facility employs more than 1,000 staff members and 300 physicians, and is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, serving patients of all ages with a focus on quality care.
