Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience in telemetry nursing. Knowledge of interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Neuro Telemetry. This position requires floating between units as needed. The schedule includes working 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. Ratios are expected to be 1:4 during shifts. Previous charge experience is preferred but not required. Experience in a community hospital is an asset. Candidates will utilize interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, and social services. Daily census is approximately 27 patients. The unit handles a variety of patient diagnoses related to neurosurgery and telemetry monitoring. Teamwork and collaboration with patients and families are essential for achieving the best outcomes. Dedicated mentors are available to assist new caregivers in their transition. Applicants should be prepared to float to other nearby facilities if necessary.
