Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MedSurg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years current Intermediate/Step Down experience License: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years current Intermediate/Step Down experience Description: Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director. Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self. Attends education programs based on identified learning needs. Uses patient education materials relevant to patient population with assistance. Assesses readiness to learn of the patient, family, and caregivers. Assesses developmental level of patient and factors affecting ability to learn. Identifies expected patient outcomes and seeks guidance as needed in revision of plan of care.
