License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing. Description: Position will float between units as per needs. On-call is required for standby. Weekends are required every other weekend. Block schedules are not required. Expected patient ratios are 1:4. Preference for candidates who have not traveled for the first time; screening is necessary. Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory. Facility type is short-term acute care and Level IV trauma center. Total number of staff beds is 60. Scrubs can be of any color. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 28 patients. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. Two professional references covering the last three years will be required. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities as needed. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Candidates must have a vehicle for the assignment. Modules are to be completed pre-start and annually. Inflexibility regarding the schedule may lead to contract termination.
