Description:
This is a resource float pool position.
The Registered Nurse will be allocated to one facility but may float to other locations as needed.
The RN will receive their schedule in advance.
The position requires either two on-call shifts or two additional shifts every six weeks.
The nurse-patient ratio is 1:6.
All requested time off must be included in the initial submission, as requests made after will not be considered.
The Registered Nurse must be able to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
On-call coverage may be required for holiday shifts.
The role involves interpreting and managing dysrhythmias in a telemetry setting.
Special procedures in this unit include centralized telemetry monitoring.
Additional support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
Candidates should have recent experience with electronic health record systems.
Travel experience is required.
The RN must be able to handle various patient diagnoses, including sepsis, dementia, and post-operative care.
There is a strict attendance policy; missing more than two shifts without reasonable explanation may result in contract cancellation.
All candidates must complete necessary compliance documents before the scheduled start date.
A cardiac dysrhythmia test will be administered on the first day of orientation, and travelers will have one chance to pass.
Modules are not required for this position.
