Job Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MedSurg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in requested specialty License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: Basic arrhythmia interpretation Foley catheter irrigation PCA, Epidural, CPM, Buck’s traction Drains and chest tube management Nursing skills with knowledge of cardiac drips, neuro, cardiac, pulmonary, ortho, trauma, and surgical patients Description: The RN position focuses on providing care in a MedSurg/Tele specialty. Registered nurses will work in a float pool setting, covering various areas within the facility. Patient types include general medical-surgical patients as well as those requiring telemetry monitoring. Common diagnoses may include chest pain, respiratory illnesses, and post-operative recovery. The role requires collaboration with a team of nursing assistants, respiratory therapists, and other support staff. Registered nurses will utilize electronic medical records and specialized equipment during patient care. Floating may occur to all MedSurg and critical care areas.
