We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry unit in Tyler, TX. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, monitor cardiac conditions, and support patients through a variety of medical and post-surgical needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Unit Details- Unit Type: Med/Surg (36 beds)
- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- Floating: Required (to equal or lower acuity units)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (half of scheduled shifts)
- Charting System: EPIC (Required)
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies
- Administer medications, including blood products and IV therapies
- Perform patient assessments and document care using EPIC
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
