Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical with Telemetry in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position involves providing patient care in a 337-bed facility with designated Chest Pain and Stroke Centers. The RN will support patients with diagnoses such as stroke, seizure, altered mental status, general weakness, acute kidney injury/chronic kidney disease, falls, cellulitis, and non-healing wounds, working primarily during night shifts with a schedule of 12-hour shifts.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications, NIHSS certification preferred, at least 18 months of medical-surgical and telemetry experience, located in North Carolina, with at least 1 year of relevant experience

- Float: Float rotation may be required within the region, including multiple facilities, as needed. Float mid-shift will be paid for travel time between facilities.
- Additional Information: The position requires experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation and non-titrating cardiac drips (such as Cardizem or Amiodarone). EPIC experience is mandatory. Support for the department includes charge nurses, unit clerks, and dedicated ancillary staff. Orientation includes 2 days of departmental training. The facility promotes a family-oriented unit culture with scrub colors navy blue for RNs, ceil blue for LPNs, and burgundy for CNAs, with free parking available.
