Job Description & Requirements

Staffing and Ratios
- Day shift RN ratio: 1:4–5
- Night shift RN ratio: 1:5–6
- Charge Nurse available 24/7
- Charge Nurse is ideally without an assignment but may take patients when staffing requires
- House Supervisor available 24/7
- Patient Care Technicians available around the clock
- PCT ratios:
- Days: approximately 1:6–7
- Nights: approximately 1:10
Experience Requirements
- Recent General Medical or Medical-Surgical RN experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable caring for a varied adult medical population
- Must be willing to float based on hospital staffing needs
