Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse position located in Shawano, Wisconsin. This role involves providing care on a 20-bed critical access unit with IMU patients, primarily managing detox, stroke assessments, respiratory cases, and pain control. The assignment features 12-hour night shifts with a focus on clinical excellence and adaptability within a busy environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) or Compact License, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), at least 2 years of Medical Surgical experience and Critical Access experience. Previous travel experience is strongly preferred.
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC charting experience within the last year.
- Float: Float rotation may be required across all facility units within skillset, and to all locations within a 60-mile radius.
- Additional Information:
- Shift starts: 08/10/2026
- No travelers from a facility or their home location within 50 miles of the Neenah, WI campus.
- Holiday rotation, including working Labor Day.
- Must work and complete at least one previous contract to be considered.
- No on-call or call back requirements.
