Med/Surg / PCU Registered Nurse (RN) – Lancaster, OH

Unit: 2 Surgical Med/Surg / PCU
Location: Lancaster, OH
Start Date: 08/24/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the 2 Surgical Med/Surg / PCU unit for a 13-week assignment in Lancaster, OH. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to Medical-Surgical and Progressive Care patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
  • Delegate responsibilities and provide direction to assigned staff as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Active Ohio/Compact RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
  • Previous Registered Nurse experience preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and make independent clinical decisions
